| Encompass: Notifications
is an enterprise notification sub-system that provides the
ability to send user initiated and system generated notifications.
Information dissemination and management is critical to the
collaboration required in today's project environment. Encompass:
Notifications provide a flexible and powerful application
to ensure project team members stay informed about project
schedule activities, tasks, financials, action items, and
any other site defined activities. User initiated notifications
can be published in various locations within the Encompass
application and triggered by end users when appropriate. Selecting
from a drop down menu of defined notifications, end users
can manually trigger, preview, modify and distribute the notification
to the applicable recipients. System generated notifications
can be setup to run in real-time or batch mode based on site
defined configuration rules. Encompass: Notifications will
monitor the data source against the site specific notification
criteria. Criteria operators include equal to, greater than,
less than, and has changed. Utilizing the criteria operators,
Encompass: Notifications can be configured to monitor and
generate notifications based on site specific criteria and
any data source in the enterprise. |
